The Member of Parliament for the Awutu Senya East Constituency in the Central Region, Ms. Phillis Naa Koryo Okornoo, in collaboration with the Municipal Chief Executive, Mr. Seth Banini, has donated 50 bags of cement to support the construction of the Iron City Police Post.

The donation forms part of efforts to strengthen local security infrastructure and improve policing services within the constituency.

Speaking at the donation ceremony, Ms. Okornoo underscored her commitment to community development and public safety, noting that effective security is critical to social stability and economic growth.

She said supporting the Ghana Police Service with essential infrastructure is a shared responsibility that requires the involvement of both government officials and community stakeholders.

He noted that the police post, once completed, would improve law enforcement coverage and help deter crime in the area.
