Bishop Bonegas shares his journey in ministry on Accra 100.5 FM's 'Ayekoo Ayekoo'
Bishop Bonegas, founder of Great Fire Pentecostal International Ministry, shared the remarkable story of his calling and early challenges during an appearance on 'Ayekoo Ayekoo' on Accra 100.5 FM mid-morning show, hosted by Docta Kay Nie, on 26th February.
Speaking about his spiritual journey, Bishop Bonegas revealed that his path was divinely ordained from birth.
“I was given the mandate to do the work of God,” he said.
“Unlike others who focus on business, my purpose has always been ministry.”
He recounted how he arrived in Accra under unusual circumstances.
“My brother-in-law put me in the boot of his car and brought me to Accra. I didn’t even see the road until we got to Barrier. That was how I came to the city,” he shared.
Before settling in Accra, Bishop Bonegas worked as a fashion designer in Nkawkaw while also engaging in ministry.
He explained that despite his early efforts, he faced significant challenges.
“When you start doing the work of God, you may not immediately see benefits.
You may struggle and still remain in the same place.
The beginning of my ministry was full of temptations,” he admitted.
Addressing the issue of spiritual trials, he emphasised that temptation is part of the journey for anyone with a divine gift. “Everyone with a calling will face temptation.
The level of challenge you experience corresponds to the level God intends to use you to break satanic strongholds,” he explained.
