GRIDCo management tours Genser Energy’s Prestea gas conditioning plant
Management of the Ghana Grid Company has paid a working visit to Genser Energy’s Prestea Gas Conditioning Plant to assess ongoing developments at the facility.
The delegation was led by GRIDCo’s Chief Executive, Ing. Mark Baah, who, together with his team, toured the plant and engaged engineers on site to gain first-hand insight into its expanding operations.
During the visit, officials were briefed on the progress of the midstream gas conditioning plant, which is designed to process up to 135 million standard cubic feet per day (mmscf/d) of natural gas.
The project forms part of broader efforts to enhance gas processing capacity and improve the reliability of fuel supply for power generation.
Speaking after the tour, Ing. Baah commended Genser Energy for the progress made so far and reaffirmed GRIDCo’s commitment to collaboration within the energy sector.
“GRIDCo looks forward to future collaborations in the quest to strengthen Ghana’s energy value chain and ensure sustainable and reliable power for every Ghanaian and our neighbouring partners,” he stated.
The visit underscores ongoing cooperation between key players in Ghana’s energy sector aimed at strengthening infrastructure, improving efficiency, and securing long-term energy sustainability.
