Ketu North leaders strengthen ties with appointees to drive development

The Member of Parliament (MP) for Ketu North, Eric Edem Agbana, has emphasised the constituency's determination to build a united front that prioritised development over politics.
On Friday, August 22, 2025, the MP hosted the Municipal Chief Executive, Rev Martin Prince Korbla Amenaki, and National Democratic Congress (NDC) constituency executives in his office at parliament before leading them to engage some distinguished sons of the constituency currently serving in government.
The visits, according to Mr Agbana, were aimed at deepening collaboration and securing support for the #KetuNorthProject, a vision to accelerate development in the area.
The first call was on Benjamin Zigorsh-Nyakpenu ESQ, First Deputy Registrar of Companies, who treated the delegation to breakfast and pledged his readiness to support the constituency.
The team also engaged Mr Basil Ahiable, Board Chairman of the Public Procurement Authority, who assured them of his commitment to lending his influence and resources to the constituency’s growth.
They rounded off with a visit to Mr Afetsi Awoonor, Managing Director of BOST, who offered firm assurances of his support and was commended for his leadership at the state-owned company.
MP Agbana noted that more of such visits would follow, stressing that Ketu North’s development required tapping into the collective strength of its people at home and in positions of influence.
“We are stronger when we stand together. The appointments of our brothers and sisters are not just personal achievements; they are opportunities for the constituency to grow,” he said.
