Madina Member of Parliament (MP) Francis-Xavier Sosu collapsed while speaking at the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA).

The incident occurred during an engagement at GIMPA on Thursday, September 24, 2026.

Classfmonline.com, which viewed footage of the incident shared on social media, observed the lawyer and MP speaking animatedly about the essence of servant leadership when his voice suddenly dropped.

He lowered the microphone from his lips and appeared disoriented and overcome with tiredness, requiring support.

A man and a woman promptly went on stage and held him on either side, while another man later joined them and stood behind the MP.

Sosu subsequently collapsed into their arms as they supported him away from the stage.

Details about the circumstances surrounding the collapse and the MP’s condition are not immediately known.
