Togbe Afede XIV welcomes BoG management team to retreat in Ho
The Governor of the Bank of Ghana, accompanied by his Deputies, Management team, and Board Members, has paid a courtesy call on Togbe Afede XIV and the leadership of the Asogli State at his residence in Ho.
The visit formed part of activities marking the central bank’s Board retreat in the Volta Regional capital.
Togbe Afede XIV warmly welcomed the delegation, assuring them of their safety and comfort throughout their stay.
He described Ho as the “Oxygen City,” noting that its serene environment makes it an ideal destination for high-level retreats and strategic engagements.
He further reaffirmed the Asogli State’s long-standing tradition of hospitality and pledged full support to the team during their retreat.
The engagement strengthened relations between the Bank of Ghana and the Asogli State.
Following the meeting, Togbe Afede XIV hosted the delegation to a dinner in their honour, a gesture that deepened the bond between the traditional authority and the nation’s central bank.
The visit also underscored Ho’s growing appeal as a preferred location for institutional retreats, reinforcing its reputation as a peaceful and welcoming city.
