The widow of late Ghanaian highlife legend Daddy Lumba, Priscilla Ofori—popularly known as Odo Broni—has initiated a GHS10 million defamation lawsuit against TikTok personality Cyndy Emma Koomson, widely referred to as Queen Emma and associated with the group “Team Legal Wives.”

The suit was filed at the High Court of Justice in Accra on April 20, 2026, marking a significant legal escalation in an ongoing dispute that has largely played out on social media platforms.

According to court documents obtained by Classfmonline.com, Odo Broni and her six children have allegedly been subjected to continuous cyberbullying and what her legal team describes as a coordinated campaign of online harassment.

The filings suggest that the actions of the defendant, along with others, have caused reputational damage and emotional distress to the family.

In the statement of claim, Queen Emma is accused of using her TikTok platform to publish what are characterized as “vile, offensive, and defamatory” statements.

Among the allegations cited is a claim that Odo Broni bribed a judge in an attempt to influence a previous court case related to the funeral rites of her late husband.

The lawsuit also states that the defendant made a series of personal accusations, including claims of infidelity against Odo Broni.

She is further alleged to have questioned the paternity of Odo Broni’s children and publicly called for DNA testing—claims the plaintiff insists are entirely false and damaging.

Additionally, the writ outlines more serious accusations reportedly made by Queen Emma, including an allegation that Odo Broni was responsible for the death of her husband.

The defendant is also said to have used insulting and derogatory language, referring to her with terms such as “oprega” (meaning restless animal) and “Odo Bronsam” (interpreted as Precious Devil).

Through her lawyers at Cardinal Law Group, Odo Broni is seeking several reliefs from the court.

These include an order compelling the defendant to issue an unreserved apology and to retract all defamatory statements made against her.

She is also requesting that the apology be prominently published as full-page advertisements for four consecutive Mondays in the Daily Graphic, as well as shared across all of the defendant’s social media platforms to ensure wide public correction of the claims.

Furthermore, Odo Broni is demanding total damages of GHS10 million.

This amount includes GHS3 million in general damages for harm caused to her reputation and GHS7 million in aggravated damages, which her legal team argues are justified due to the “deliberate, malicious, and persistent” nature of the alleged publications.
