Government Accountability Series: Haruna Iddrisu to account for education sector performance July 20
Minister for Education, Haruna Iddrisu, will on Monday, July 20, 2026, appear at the Government Accountability Series to present a mid-year assessment of the education sector.
The event, organised by the Presidency Communications Office, is scheduled to begin at 11:00 a.m.
As part of his presentation, the Minister is expected to outline progress made in the education sector during the first half of the year and respond to issues relating to government policies and programmes.
He will also provide details of the GH¢3 billion infrastructure programme recently approved by Cabinet to support the abolition of the double-track system in senior high schools.
The Government Accountability Series provides a platform for ministers to update the public on the implementation of government policies, programmes and key interventions in their respective sectors.
