Ledzokuku MP sponsors BECE mock exams for 3,773 candidates

The Member of Parliament for Ledzokuku Constituency in the Greater Accra Region, Benjamin Narteh Ayiku, has reaffirmed his commitment to education by sponsoring mock examinations for 3,773 Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) candidates in the constituency.
The initiative, which seeks to assess students’ preparedness ahead of the upcoming BECE, is also aimed at boosting their confidence and encouraging academic excellence.
Mr. Ayiku, accompanied by the newly confirmed Municipal Chief Executive (MCE), Israel Adjetey Otchemah, visited several examination centres to monitor the exercise.
He underscored the importance of mock exams in identifying areas where students need further support and improvement.
“These exams are crucial in helping our students evaluate their readiness.
It’s also an opportunity for teachers and parents to understand where to focus as the final exams draw closer,” Mr. Ayiku noted.
The MP advised the students to remain focused, disciplined, and prayerful as they prepare for their examinations and future aspirations.
As part of his broader efforts to promote quality education in the Ledzokuku Constituency, Mr. Ayiku also funded the re-roofing of the Martey Tsuru school building, which suffered severe damage during a recent rainstorm.
The gesture has been widely praised by students, teachers, and parents, with many describing it as a timely intervention that demonstrates the MP’s dedication to the welfare of young learners and the improvement of educational infrastructure in the area.
Mr. Ayiku's interventions continue to underscore his belief in education as a powerful tool for transforming lives and empowering communities.
