Buipewura Jinapor II visits Ministry of Food and Agriculture as 2026 promises exciting developments in agriculture
The Buipewura Jinapor II, Paramount Chief of the Buipewura Traditional Council in the Savannah Region, paid a courtesy visit to the Ministry of Food and Agriculture, underscoring growing collaboration between traditional authorities and government on agricultural development.
Officials at the Ministry, led by Minister Eric Opoku and his Deputy John Dumelo, described the visit as timely, as Ghana’s agricultural sector prepares for an exciting 2026, with initiatives aimed at boosting production, enhancing value addition, and expanding opportunities for farmers across the country.
The Paramount Chief expressed his support for government policies and pledged to work closely with the Ministry to promote agricultural activities in the Savannah Region.
