GRIDCo announces emergency maintenance in Central Region

The Ghana Grid Company (GRIDCo) has announced an emergency maintenance schedule for the Central Region, which will result in power outages in various areas.
The maintenance is aimed at upgrading transmission infrastructure to ensure consistent and efficient power delivery.
This maintenance will start from tomorrow, Thursday, 23 October 2025, from 10 am-3 pm.
Affected areas are:
PRASO, JUKWA HEMANG ABRAFO, EFUTU, ASEBU, FOSU TOWNSHIP, ASSIN NORTH, ASSIN SOUTH, ABURA-DUNKWA,
YAMORANSA, EDUMFA ABRANKAM, FANTE NYAN KUMASI, CAPE COAST METROPOLITAN, KEEA, MANAKESSIM, ANOMABO, BRIMA, ELIMINA TOWNSHIP, KOMENDA EKUMFI, parts of AJUMAKO district and surrounding communities
The GRIDCo has apologised for any inconvenience this may cause and is working to complete the maintenance as soon as possible.
Residents in the affected areas are advised to plan accordingly and make necessary arrangements.
