NDC's Dr. Grace Ayensu Danquah offers free reconstructive surgery screening in Essikado Ketan
Dr. Grace Ayensu Danquah, the National Democratic Congress (NDC’s) Parliamentary Candidate for the Essikado Ketan Constituency in the Western Region, has continued her efforts to improve the health of her constituents with a new initiative—free screening for reconstructive plastic surgery patients.
Through her Dr. Grace Foundation, Dr. Ayensu Danquah has launched several initiatives aimed at enhancing the socio-economic conditions of the community.
Her latest effort, a free screening exercise held on Wednesday, August 28, saw hundreds of residents participate, providing them with the opportunity to receive healthcare services they might otherwise have found unaffordable.
The screening exercise, which focused on reconstructive plastic surgery, enabled participants to save over GHS 5,000—the estimated cost of receiving similar treatment at a healthcare facility.
Many constituents expressed gratitude to Dr. Ayensu Danquah for her unwavering support, particularly in the realm of healthcare.
They noted that the cost of reconstructive procedures, typically ranging from GHS 5,000 to GHS 7,000, would have been prohibitive without her intervention.
Dr. Ayensu Danquah, a US-trained plastic surgery specialist, has been offering free medical services to the Essikado Ketan community through her foundation since 2011.
In an interview, she reaffirmed her commitment to prioritizing the health needs of her constituents, emphasizing that a healthy population is key to a thriving community.
"I am dedicated to ensuring the well-being of the people I aim to serve come December 7, 2024," Dr. Ayensu Danquah stated.
"Their health is my utmost priority, which is why I have been organizing these free healthcare initiatives since 2011."
Her efforts have been widely appreciated by the community, reflecting her longstanding dedication to enhancing the quality of life for those she hopes to represent in Parliament
