Ransford Abbey vsits Cocoa Clinic, encourages staff to prioritise health
Dr Ransford Abbey has continued his New Year tour with a visit to the Cocoa Clinic, where he engaged with medical and support staff and formally welcomed them back to work for the year.
During the visit, Dr Abbey interacted with staff across various departments, commending them for their dedication and the critical role they play in supporting the health and well-being of cocoa sector workers.
As part of the visit, Dr Abbey also undertook his annual routine medical check-up at the facility, using the occasion to lead by example and encourage staff to take their health seriously.
He urged employees to prioritise regular medical examinations, maintain personal fitness, and adopt healthy lifestyles, stressing that a healthy workforce is essential to productivity and national development.
Dr Abbey further noted that the well-being of staff is closely linked to the sustainability of cocoa production, adding that strong health systems within the sector contribute significantly to efficiency and long-term growth.
The visit formed part of Dr Abbey’s broader New Year engagements aimed at boosting morale, strengthening institutional relationships, and reinforcing a culture of wellness and professionalism within the cocoa industry.
