#2024Polls: Alan Kyerematen congratulates NDC, Mahama on 'emphatic victory'
The founder and leader of Movement for Change (M4C) and Alliance for Revolutionary Change, Alan Kwadwo Kyerematen, has congratulated "former President John Dramani Mahama and the National Democratic Congress (NDC) for an emphatic victory in the just concluded 2024 general elections".
This was contained in a Sunday, December 8, 2024, statement by the former trades minister.
"Although the Electoral Commission is yet to formally declare the elections, it is very clear that the people of Ghana have spoken," Kyerematen noted.
"I urge all Ghanaians to accept the decision of the Ghanaian electorate once the official results are released, in order to preserve the peace of our dear nation," he added.
"I wish in the same vein to commend all presidential and parliamentary candidates, for their responsible conduct which has without doubt, made this year's general elections one of the most peaceful in our nation's history."
Kyerematen said, "I extend my deepest sympathies to the family of the individual who is reported to have lost his life in the course of the elections, and those who sustained injuries."
"Let us all remember that there are no winners or losers in this election. It is Ghana that has emerged victorious, through the mercy and grace of our Living God," he concluded.
"God bless our homeland Ghana and make our nation great and strong!"
