2026 budget to be presented next week Thursday
The 2026 Budget Statement and Economic Policy is scheduled to be presented to Parliament on Thursday, November 13, 2025.
This was announced by the Majority Leader, Mahama Ayariga, during the presentation of the Business Statement for the ensuing week on the floor of Parliament.
Mr. Ayariga indicated that all necessary arrangements have been made for the Minister for Finance to appear before the House to present the budget, which will outline the government’s economic priorities, fiscal strategies, and expenditure plans for the 2026 financial year.
The presentation of the budget is expected to generate significant debate among Members of Parliament as the government seeks to address key national issues such as job creation, inflation control, and economic growth in the coming year.
