Alan Kyerematen predicts ‘big surprise’ in Dec. 7 polls as he rallies grassroots support
The Leader and Founder of the Movement for Change, Alan Kyerematen, has confidently predicted an unexpected outcome in the upcoming December 7 general elections, promising what he describes as a “big surprise” in favour of his grassroots-focused campaign.
Convinced that his message is resonating with ordinary Ghanaians, Mr. Kyerematen believes his appeal is reshaping the political landscape in ways traditional parties may not fully grasp.
Following a spirited tour of Accra’s markets, the Movement for Change fonder, recounted his interactions with supporters, describing the public enthusiasm as “organic” and “genuine.”
He shared: “You can see the euphoria, the organic love that the ordinary people are showing towards me. And so there is going to be a big surprise in December.”
Reflecting on his former party, the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Mr. Kyerematen expressed doubts about its voter base, suggesting the numbers may not be as solid as they appear.
“I know that the NPP does not have more than one million committed voters,” he stated.
He added: “Don’t be fooled by the numbers. The numbers that you find during elections do not represent the reality.”
