Dec 7 polls: Vote wisely Mahama to Ghanaians
Former President John Dramani Mahama, the flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has reminded Ghanaians that elections have significant consequences, urging them to vote wisely in the upcoming 2024 general election.
Speaking to residents of the Daboya-Mankargu Constituency in the Savannah Region during his campaign tour, Mahama emphasized that voting for him and his running mate, Prof. Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang, would be one of the best decisions in the history of Ghana.
He pointed out that the current hardships Ghanaians are facing are a result of the choice made during the 2016 general election.
According to Mahama, the New Patriotic Party (NPP) government made "sweet" promises to influence voters, but after eight years in office, little to no developmental progress has been made.
Mahama consistently highlighted the importance of peace and stability in both the Savannah Region and the country as a whole.
He assured residents that, if elected, his administration would prioritize developmental projects and bring tangible improvements to their communities.
