Dr Yaw Osei Adutwum pops up in Parliament after lossing in NPP presidential primary
Former Minister for Education and New Patriotic Party (NPP) flagbearer aspirant, Dr. Yaw Osei Adu Twum, has appeared in Parliament following the party’s recent internal primary.
Dr. Adu Twum, who served as Education Minister under the previous NPP administration, was seen participating in parliamentary proceedings amid heightened political activity within the party after the conclusion of its primary.
His appearance comes at a time when attention is focused on developments within the NPP, as the party prepares for the next phase of its political calendar following the selection process for its presidential candidate.
Dr. Adu Twum has not publicly commented in Parliament on the outcome of the primary, but his presence signals his continued engagement in national governance and parliamentary business.
Observers say his return to the House underscores the overlapping roles played by senior party figures who combine legislative duties with active participation in internal party processes.
