Galamsey fight: Lands Minister hosts NDC Regional Chairmen

The Minister for Lands and Natural Resources, Emmanuel Armah-Kofi Buah, has hosted a strategic meeting with regional chairmen of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) alongside chief executive officers of key agencies under the ministry.
The gathering, held in Accra, served as a platform to strengthen party-government collaboration and review progress on the ministry’s priorities within the framework of the NDC government’s reset agenda.
In his remarks, Minister Armah-Buah lauded the regional chairmen for their outstanding leadership and tireless grassroots mobilisation, which he described as instrumental to the party’s landmark victory in the recent general elections.
He underscored the importance of sustained unity and coordination between party structures and government appointees, stressing that such collaboration is essential to the successful implementation of President John Mahama’s transformative development agenda.
The meeting also provided an opportunity for the CEOs to brief party leadership on ongoing projects and policy directions, particularly in areas such as land reform, mining regulation, and sustainable natural resource management.
