Isaac Obeng declares bid for NPP Okaikwei South constituency chairmanship
Former NPP Youth Organizer and National Communications Team member, Isaac Obeng has officially declared his intention to contest for the position of Okaikwei South Constituency Chairman in the Greater Accra Region.
In a declaration released to party stakeholders, Mr Obeng said his decision stems from “a sincere desire to provide strong, inclusive, and strategic leadership” that can unite the party at the grassroots, strengthen its structures, and restore confidence ahead of future elections.
Mr Obeng, who has served the party as Youth Organizer and as part of the National Communications Team, said the experience gave him the opportunity to work closely with both national and constituency executives, as well as with grassroots members and the party’s youth wing.
“Over the years, we have faced moments of triumph and periods of challenge, but through unity, sacrifice, and resilience, we have remained steadfast in our commitment to the progress of the NPP in Okaikwei South,” he stated.
“These experiences have shaped my leadership, deepened my understanding and prepared me for the responsibility of higher service.”
Addressing party elders, executives, electoral area coordinators, and members of the Youth, Women’s, NASARA, and TESCON wings, Obeng said his bid is aimed at restoring confidence and positioning the party for greater electoral success in the constituency.
He asked for prayers, advice, and support as he embarks on the campaign.
He also extended encouragement to other aspiring Youth Organizers, urging them to pursue their ambitions “with humility, integrity, and a spirit of service to the party.”
