Joseph Kobinah Esibu has been elected Central Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
Mr Esibu secured 278 votes in the party’s regional executive elections held nationwide on Saturday, August 15.
He defeated his main contender, Percy Dennis, who polled 161 votes.
The election in the Central Region was conducted across 22 voting centres as the NPP elected regional executives nationwide.
