Koforidua High Court Grants Freddie Blay GHS 800,000 bail
The Koforidua High Court has granted bail in the sum of GHS 800,000 to former National Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Freddie Blay.
The court attached two sureties to the bail condition, requiring that they justify the amount as part of the terms for his release.
Details surrounding the case and the specific charges against Mr Blay are over a land dispute at Kitase in the Eastern Region.
The development is expected to draw significant public and political interest, given Mr Blay’s prominence within the NPP and Ghana’s political landscape.
Further proceedings in the case are anticipated as the court continues to hear the matter.
