Mahama pledges to complete abandoned projects during Ahafo "Thank You" Tour

President John Dramani Mahama has reaffirmed his commitment to completing all abandoned projects initiated by previous administrations. He made this pledge during his “Thank You” tour of the Ahafo Region, where he expressed appreciation to residents for their support in the 2024 general elections.
Addressing a gathering of chiefs and residents, Mr. Mahama revealed that a comprehensive inventory of uncompleted projects across the country has already been undertaken, paving the way for their eventual resumption and completion.
The former President was warmly received by traditional leaders and the people of the Ahafo Region, who used the occasion to highlight their pressing development needs and called for urgent attention to longstanding challenges.
Mr. Mahama assured them that his visit was not merely to express gratitude but also to renew his commitment to delivering on campaign promises made ahead of the 2024 elections.
He also touched on key infrastructure priorities, noting that several major roads in the region have been earmarked for reconstruction in the coming months, as part of a broader strategy to improve connectivity and stimulate regional development.
