NDC sets October 24 and 25 for constituency elections – Mahdi Gibrill
The Director of Elections and IT of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Mahdi M. Gibrill, says the party has scheduled October 24 and 25 for its constituency-level elections.
Speaking on The Citizen Show with Kwabena Bobie Ansah on Accra 100.5FM, Mr. Gibrill said the electoral guidelines had been carefully designed to ensure a smooth and peaceful process.
He said, “The arrangements and guidelines put in place are intended to ensure that the constituency elections are conducted smoothly, peacefully, and without unnecessary misunderstandings or conflict.”
Mr. Gibrill urged party members and supporters to exercise restraint in their public utterances and conduct throughout the electoral process.
He stated, “We are appealing to all party members to be mindful of their language and conduct and to avoid insults or actions that could create tension and undermine the peace of the elections.”
He further encouraged all members to participate in the elections peacefully and respect the laid-down procedures.
“We expect all members to conduct themselves responsibly and ensure that the elections are peaceful, transparent, and orderly,” he added.
