Several prominent members of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) have visited the Police Headquarters Criminal Investigations Department (CID) to show solidarity with Daniel Adomako, popularly known as “Sir Obama Pokuase,” who is currently in custody over the display of sophisticated weapons.

Among those present were former NPP General Secretary John Boadu, National Youth Organiser, Henry Nana Boakye,  Pius Enam Hadzide, Greater Accra Regional Youth Organiser Moses Abor, lawyer Baffour Awuah, and other party faithful.

The group’s presence at the CID was described as a show of moral support for Sir Obama, who is facing charges related to the illegal possession and display of sophisticated weapons.

The visit comes amid heightened public attention to the case, which forms part of broader national security operations targeting illegal arms possession and criminal activity.
