The Member of Parliament for Okaikwei South Constituency in the Greater, Ernest Adomako, has reiterated his commitment to improving the lives of residents in the constituency, describing his continuous support for widows, the aged, and other vulnerable groups as a core part of his public service.

Speaking after supporting hundreds of widows and elderly persons during Christmas celebrations in the constituency, the MP highlighted several community-focused interventions he has undertaken, including the provision of financial support and small loans to widows to help them establish or expand their small businesses.

Mr. Adomako also outlined key infrastructure projects carried out under his leadership, such as road construction, drainage systems, and the provision of boreholes to improve access to clean water in parts of Okaikwei South.

According to him, these projects are aimed at addressing longstanding developmental challenges and improving the overall quality of life for residents.

Addressing public misconceptions, the MP dismissed claims that his interventions amount to vote-buying, stating that his actions are motivated solely by a desire to serve the people who entrusted him with leadership.

He stressed that supporting the vulnerable is a responsibility of leadership, not a political tactic.

Mr. Adomako further expressed pride in being the first person in 28 years to win the parliamentary seat for Okaikwei South for NDC, describing the victory as a mandate to deliver meaningful development and inclusive growth for the constituency.

He reaffirmed his determination to continue working tirelessly to uplift communities within Okaikwei South, emphasising that his focus remains on sustainable development, empowerment, and improving the living conditions of residents.
