Parliament to resume sitting on May 27 for second meeting of ninth Parliament

Parliament will reconvene on Tuesday, May 27, 2025, for the second meeting of the first session of the Ninth Parliament of the Fourth Republic.
This was announced by Speaker of Parliament, Alban Bagbin, in a formal notice issued in accordance with Order 58 of the Standing Orders of the House.
The notice, dated May 12, 2025, indicated that proceedings will commence at 10:00 a.m. at Parliament House in Accra.
Upon resumption, Members of Parliament are expected to continue with outstanding business from the previous meeting, including the consideration of bills, committee reports, and other matters pending before the House.
