The work begins: Prof Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang declares after NDC victory
“The work begins,” Prof Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has declared.
She spoke after the Electoral Commission (EC) declared her party flagbearer John Dramani Mahama as the winner of the 2024 presidential elections, Monday, December 9.
Ghanaians voted on Saturday.
Set to be the first-ever female vice president of Ghana, Prof Opoku-Agyemang vowed she would be a servant-leader, recognising “it is not a self-aggrandising position”.
“I will hold the door open,” she assured.
