UG Corporate Football League: GAF Officers Sports Club soars high

Ghana Armed Forces Officers Sports Club (GAFOSC) is having an outstanding season in the University of Ghana (UG) Corporate Football League.
With six wins out of seven games, GAFOSC currently sits second on the Group A table with 19 points – just two points behind Union Ghana.
What stands out most about the team is their consistency and discipline.
GAFOSC has conceded only one goal all season, making them a very disciplined defensive side in the group.
Offensively, they’ve been sharp, too, scoring 17 goals, which is only a one goal difference between their side and Union, with 18 goals.
From their first game, GAFOSC has looked like a well-drilled unit. They play with purpose, stay organised, and know how to grind out results when it matters. Their matches have shown a team that understands its members on the field, something that does not happen by chance.
GAFOSC has proven that they are not just here to participate, they are here to compete. Week after week, they have delivered strong performances and stayed in the title conversation.
Now, with just a game left, GAFOSC is determined to beat Union Ghana to secure the top spot. Both teams have qualified from Group A to play in the semifinals.
As things heat up, all eyes will be on Ghana Armed Forces Officers Sports Club (GAFOSC) to see if they can keep this momentum going. Whether they finish first or not, their performance so far has been one of the biggest highlights of the season.
This Friday June 20, 2025, from 5PM at the University of Ghana (UG) Stadium, witness the Corporate Football League, which is brought to you by University of Ghana Sports and Wellness Directorate and RITE Sports Services, supported by Glico General Insurance, Viggo Energy, Socaloca and Ghana Football Association (GFA).
