Ketu North MP receives customised footwear, pledges support for youth entrepreneurship
The Member of Parliament for Ketu North Constituency in the Volta Region, Mr. Edem Agbana, has received a pair of customised black leather slippers from GoldCoast Tokota, a Ghanaian footwear brand, in recognition of his consistent support for young entrepreneurs and local brands.
The presentation was made during a visit to the MP’s office by the founder and Chief Executive Officer of GoldCoast Tokota.
The visit also provided an opportunity for discussions on concrete plans to recruit and train young people from the Ketu North Constituency in shoe-making as part of efforts to promote skills development and youth employment.
Mr. Agbana commended the brand for its commitment to quality craftsmanship and local innovation, describing initiatives like GoldCoast Tokota as critical to Ghana’s industrial and creative growth.
He encouraged the company to remain focused on excellence and innovation as it works to position Ghanaian-made products on the global market.
The Ketu North MP also reaffirmed his commitment to supporting initiatives that empower young people through entrepreneurship and vocational training.
