Thousands of job opportunities opened for the youth under Ghana's Petroleum Hub Project - CEO
The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Petroleum Hub Development Corporation, Mr Charles Owusu, has announced that thousands of job opportunities will be created for young Ghanaians through the country's Petroleum Hub Project.
In a recent statement, Mr Owusu highlighted the significant potential of the project to provide employment for the youth, particularly in the growing energy sector.
Speaking in a public address, Owusu encouraged interested young people to submit their personal data for consideration in the training programme set to begin in January 2025.
He emphasised that this initiative would offer them the necessary skills and qualifications to take advantage of the job opportunities emerging from the project.
Owusu further urged the youth to support the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the upcoming elections, stressing that a strong mandate for the party would enable the smooth execution of the training programmes and the broader development goals of the Petroleum Hub.
He pointed out that continued political stability and support would ensure the successful implementation of the project, thereby creating long-term benefits for the youth and the nation.
The Petroleum Hub Project is part of the government's strategy to leverage Ghana's vast energy resources to drive economic growth and create sustainable employment opportunities.
