Omar Sterling: 7 reasons VTH2 is the greatest representation of a true rap album

Omar Sterling's VTH2 (Victory Through Harmony 2), released on Oct 7, 2025, is a continuation of Victory Through Harmony, which was released eight years ago, in 2017.
VTH2 a 17-track album which spans about 48 minutes, with only three features (Kweku Smoke, King Promise and Mugeez of R2bees) is one of the greatest projects with respect to rap music in Ghana and below are seven reasons:
1. As mentioned by Omar sterling on the first track (Papa Watch), there are no autotune or reverb, which is very rare in music offlate. It makes you feel the raw emotions in the flow.
2. It is a rap album but what makes his different is the fact that he takes his construction and delivery to the basics of rap, therefore, making it easy on the ear and easy to understand or comprehend.
3. The instrumentals on all the songs do not come with unnecessary elements which will take your attention from his lyrics and the message he is putting across.
4. The storyline of every song is well-told, no deviation, no gimmicks.
5. The way Omar Sterling effortlessly blends Twi, Pidgin, and English, makes the album extremely pleasant to listen to.
6. Django, which features Kweku Smoke, is one song that tells you how talented Smoke is, and also paints a clear picture of the future of rap in Ghana.
7. All My Life features King Promise, another great masterpiece, undoubtedly showing how king has grown in this music journey, blending Twi, English and Ga.
