Fafa Radio CEO calls for unity and support for new GJA leadership

The CEO of Fafa Radio and Founder of the Duamenefa Foundation, Emmanuel Evortefe, has urged members of the Ghana Journalists Association (GJA) to rally behind the newly elected leadership to drive development and transformation within the association, particularly in the Volta Region.
Speaking to Class News, Mr Evortefe expressed hope for meaningful collaborations between the new leadership and relevant stakeholders. He emphasised the need for progress and unity, describing the election as a pivotal moment for the association in the region.
“The association has been there for quite a while, and we are praying for collaborations with the relevant stakeholders. We pray for development for the GJA in the Volta Region, and we believe that with the officers elected today, there should be the desired change a change we have all been yearning for,” he said.
He further called on members of the GJA to throw their full support behind the new leadership, adding that unity and collective backing are crucial for the new executives to effectively implement their visions and missions.
“All the aspirants have shared their visions and missions for the GJA. We trust that whoever God has chosen for us will come out with bold and clear objectives, and it is our duty to support that person wholeheartedly so that together, we can achieve the desired impact for the Volta Region,” he added.
Mr Evortefe concluded with a call for consistency, transparency, and dedication from the newly elected executives, stressing that effective leadership is key to strengthening journalism and promoting ethical standards across the region and the country at large.
