Paramount chief of Anum Traditional Area pays courtesy call on Finance Minister
The Paramount Chief of the Anum Traditional Area inthe Eastern Region, Akusiaku Obrempong Kumi Sasraku VIII, has paid a courtesy call on the Minister for Finance and senior government officials to discuss key development priorities affecting his area.
The chief was accompanied by his sub-chiefs and elders in what officials described as a cordial and forward-looking engagement.
Discussions during the meeting centred on critical development issues, including strengthening local economic empowerment, improving infrastructure, enhancing social services and creating sustainable opportunities for the youth and the business community.
Both sides exchanged views on strategies to promote inclusive growth and accelerate development within the Anum Traditional Area and beyond.
The government delegation reaffirmed its commitment to collaborating closely with traditional authorities to ensure that national policies reflect the needs and aspirations of local communities.
