E/R: CRIG creche holds colourful graduation ceremony at Akyem New Tafo

The Cocoa Research Institute of Ghana (CRIG) Creche at Akyem New Tafo in the Abuakwa North Municipality of the Eastern Region has held a colourful graduation ceremony, drawing parents, alumni, and dignitaries.
The event, which marked the transition of pupils from the creche to preschool, was filled with performances from the children, including poetry recitals and drama sketches that highlighted their creativity and confidence.
Speaking as the Guest of Honour, Dr. Esther Gyedu commended the vision behind establishing the school six years ago, stressing that it was designed to support working parents, particularly nursing mothers.
She praised the institution for providing quality childcare and early education.
In her welcome address, the Head of the school, Madam Irene Baah, acknowledged some challenges but highlighted the steady growth of the creche since its inception.
She reaffirmed the school’s commitment to ensuring a strong educational foundation for its pupils.
Chairperson of the occasion, Dr. Mrs. Patricia Adu-Yeboah, lauded the teachers for their dedication to instilling discipline and knowledge in the children.
She also expressed gratitude to the parents for their cooperation and unwavering support.
