EPUC leaders discuss introduction of law programme with Volta Regional Minister

In a recent meeting, Vice President Rev. Dr. Israel Nyarko and Registrar Torgbe Dogbega V (George Debrie) of Evangelical Presbyterian University College (EPUC) paid a courtesy visit to Mr. James Gunu, the Volta Regional Minister.
The purpose of the visit was to congratulate him on his appointment and formally invite him to the university’s 16th Graduation Ceremony, scheduled for Friday, March 28, 2025.
During the discussion, James Gunu commended EPUC for its significant role in educating future leaders and emphasized the importance of expanding academic programmes to meet regional needs.
He specifically encouraged the introduction of a Law degree programmes, highlighting the absence of such offerings in the Volta Region despite a growing demand for legal education.
Responding to the Minister's suggestion, Rev. Dr. Israel Nyarko assured that the university is actively working towards establishing a Law programme.
He mentioned that plans are underway to introduce this course, aiming to provide accessible legal education within the region.
The meeting concluded on a positive note, with both parties reaffirming their commitment to advancing higher education in the Volta Region.
The upcoming graduation ceremony is expected to be a significant event, marking another milestone in EPUC's dedication to academic excellence and community development.
