Prof. Raymond Atuguba assumes office as interim Director of Ghana School of Law

Prof. Raymond A. Atuguba has officially assumed office as the Interim Director of the Ghana School of Law, succeeding Justice Nana Barima Yaw Kodie Oppong, who served as Director of Legal Education and head of the School from April 1, 2022, to August 31, 2025.
On his first day in office, Prof. Atuguba held a maiden meeting with staff, where he expressed his commitment to strengthening the institution and advancing its mission of legal education in Ghana.
He pledged to build on the strong foundation laid by his predecessor while introducing new initiatives to address emerging challenges in legal training.
The management and staff of the School extended their appreciation to Justice Oppong for his dedicated service and leadership, acknowledging his contributions to reforms and institutional growth over the past three years.
Prof. Atuguba, a distinguished academic and legal practitioner, is expected to bring fresh perspectives to the School’s administration, focusing on innovation, inclusivity, and excellence in legal education
