Anyinam bypass on Accra-Kumasi road closed down temporarily

The Ghana Highway Authority (GHA) has directed the temporary closure of Anyinam Bypass on the Accra-Kumasi Road in the Eastern Region
The road will be temporarily closed to traffic as the Ghana Grid Company Limited (GRIDCo) undertakes tower relocation works along the transmission line corridor.
“For the safety of motorists and the public, the Authority strongly advises everyone to stay off the Anyinam Bypass while these works are ongoing”, the statement revealed.
The Ghana Police Service will be present to assist with traffic management and ensure public safety throughout the exercise, starting Sunday, 5th October, to Tuesday, 14th October 2025.
“The Authority regrets any inconvenience this may cause and appeals to the public to cooperate with the team of engineers as we work together to ensure safe and efficient travel along the Accra-Kumasi corridor”, the statement added.
