E/R: Skeletal remains discovered at Old Abirem residence of a pastor

Residents of Old Abirem in the Birim North District of the Eastern Region have been left in shock after skeletal remains of an unidentified person were discovered at the residence of Emmanuel Kofi, leader of the Jesus Power Church.
According to information gathered by Accra 100.5 FM news, the body was already in an advanced state of decomposition, making identification difficult.
Confirming the incident, the Assembly Member for the Old Abirem Electoral Area, Mr. Fred Gyampo, explained how the discovery was made.
He revealed that a young man in the community reported the strange occurrence after what he described as a spiritual revelation.
With the assistance of the police, the skeletal remains were subsequently retrieved.
Investigations have since been launched to determine the identity of the deceased and the cause of death.
In an interview, the young man identified as Kwaku recounted his experience, claiming that it was through a spiritual encounter that he was directed to the location of the body.
Meanwhile, residents of Old Abirem say they are living in fear and uncertainty, following the shocking discovery in their community.
Angry residents have gone ahead to set the church of Emmanuel Kofi ablaze.
