GA/R: Adventist Men’s Ministry undertakes clean-up exercise at Teshie LEKMA hospital

The Adventist Men's Ministry, Zone 1, a group under the Seventh-Day Adventist Church, has embarked on a clean-up exercise at the Teshie LEKMA Hospital as part of efforts to promote cleanliness and hygiene in the community.
The exercise, which took place on March 2, 2025, saw members of the ministry volunteering their time to tidy up the hospital’s surroundings and facilities, ensuring a cleaner and healthier environment for patients and staff.
Speaking on the initiative, Pastor Chris Lambert, Union Director of the Adventist Men's Ministry, emphasized that the clean-up exercise was aimed at instilling a culture of cleanliness and responsibility within the community.
He also highlighted that the activity served as a prelude to "WAD Impact 2025," a global evangelism campaign spearheaded by the Seventh-Day Adventist Church.
“As Adventists, we believe that cleanliness is not just a physical act, but also a spiritual duty.
By keeping our environment clean, we promote good health while showing respect for ourselves, our community, and our Creator,” Pastor Lambert stated.
The leader of the Teshie Adventist Men's Ministry, Dr. N. Bosomtwi Williams, urged Christians to emulate the humility of Christ by actively serving others.
He emphasized that true discipleship is demonstrated through acts of service and compassion.
The Environmental Health Officer of the Teshie LEKMA Hospital, Madam Sekina Adams, expressed gratitude to the Adventist Men's Ministry for their generous efforts, noting that their work will contribute significantly to maintaining a clean and healthy environment for both patients and healthcare staff.
She further encouraged other organizations to follow the example set by the Adventist Men's Ministry and engage in similar community service initiatives.
