The Office of the Special Prosecutor (OSP) and the Ghana Police Service have pledged to strengthen their partnership in the fight against corruption and related offences across the country.

On Wednesday, May 8, Special Prosecutor Kissi Agyebeng paid a courtesy call on the newly appointed Inspector General of Police (IGP), Christian Tetteh Yohuno, as part of efforts to deepen institutional collaboration between the two agencies.

During the meeting, both leaders reaffirmed their commitment to intensifying joint operations, emphasising the importance of improved coordination, intelligence sharing, and operational synergy.

They agreed that closer cooperation between the OSP and the Police Service is crucial to enhancing enforcement, promoting transparency, and ensuring accountability at all levels of governance.

Senior officials from both institutions attended the engagement, which marks a significant step toward building a unified front against corruption in Ghana.
