Kennedy Agyapong files nomination, urges NPP delegates to back his bid for jobs

Former Assin Central MP, Kennedy Agyapong, has formally submitted his nomination to contest the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) flagbearer race, calling on delegates to look beyond public commentary and focus on securing the party’s future.
Speaking after filing his forms on Wednesday, August 27, Mr. Agyapong stressed that the choice delegates make will be critical in determining the NPP’s chances in the 2028 general election.
“I’m on my knees, I beg you in the name of God, do not listen to what Ghanaians are saying.
Vote for Kennedy Agyapong, and victory will be assured for the NPP in 2028.
Wherever you go, Ghanaians are crying for Kennedy Agyapong,” he appealed.
He cautioned delegates against succumbing to what he described as intimidation and selfish interests within the party, urging unity in the selection of a candidate capable of delivering victory.
“Don’t allow anyone to intimidate you. Party victory is paramount, so let us unite and select a candidate who can deliver,” he declared.
