Speaking during his working visit to the NPA on Wednesday, October 15, Mr Jinapor praised the CEO’s leadership, noting that his efforts had positioned the Authority for greater efficiency and credibility.
“Your dynamic CEO is bringing about a lot of transformation and transparency; give him the needed support to continue this important work,” the Minister said.
He highlighted that effective leadership at the NPA was essential for implementing the government’s wider reform agenda for the energy sector.
“Strong and visionary leadership at the NPA is critical if we are to deliver the reforms and modernisation we have set out to achieve,” he added.
Mr Jinapor encouraged staff to align themselves with the vision of their management team and work collaboratively towards building a responsive and innovative regulatory institution.
“When leadership and staff move in the same direction, results are inevitable,” he remarked.
The Minister reaffirmed the government’s commitment to supporting the NPA through capacity building, improved systems, and an enabling policy environment.
“This institution is vital to our national development, and together, we will make it stronger,” he assured
