The Black Stars will open camp on Sunday, October 5, 2025, to begin preparations for their final two fixtures in the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.

Ghana, four-time African champions, are set to face the Central African Republic and Comoros in Match day 9 and 10 later this month as they push to secure a place at the global showpiece.

According to Henry Asante Twum, Communications Director of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), players who feature for their clubs on Saturday are expected to report to camp on Sunday, while those playing on Sunday will join the squad the following day.

“Depending on the number of home-based players who will make the cut, they will join the rest of the technical team and the entire contingent in Morocco,” he explained on Woezor TV’s Arena.

He further confirmed that head coach Otto Addo has submitted and defended his final squad list for the crucial double-header.

The Black Stars will first take on the Central African Republic at the Stade d’Honneur de Meknes in Morocco on Wednesday, October 8, with kick-off scheduled for 16:00 GMT.

The team will then return to Ghana to host Comoros at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday, October 12, in what will be their last group-stage fixture.

Ghana need just one more victory to confirm qualification for their fifth FIFA World Cup appearance.
