Ogum, Adarkwa represent Ghana at WAFU Zone B U-17 coaching seminar in Abidjan
Two Ghanaian football coaches, Dr. Prosper Nartey Ogum and Joe Nana Adarkwa, are representing the country at the ongoing WAFU Zone B Under-17 Coaching Seminar in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire, as part of efforts to strengthen youth football development across the West African region.
The seminar brings together technical experts and youth coaches from member nations to exchange ideas, share experiences, and explore modern coaching trends aimed at improving talent identification and player development at the grassroots level.
Dr. Ogum and Adarkwa are participating in a series of workshops and practical sessions focused on contemporary training methods, tactical innovations, and best practices in youth football management.
Their involvement underscores Ghana’s commitment to investing in technical capacity building and aligning its youth football structures with evolving international standards.
Organisers say the programme is designed to equip coaches with the tools and knowledge needed to nurture young talents and build competitive national teams for the future.
The seminar is also expected to foster stronger collaboration among WAFU Zone B countries as they work collectively to raise the standard of football development across the sub-region.
