Boris Kodjoe engages GoldBod CEO on value addition partnership
Austrian-German actor and former model Boris Kodjoe has paid a courtesy call on the Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Gold Board, Sammy Gyamfi, to explore a strategic partnership focused on value addition in Ghana’s gold sector.
The meeting centred on opportunities to enhance local processing and beneficiation of gold, in line with efforts to maximise the country’s returns from its natural resources.
Discussions also highlighted the potential role of international partnerships and diaspora engagement in promoting investment, branding, and global market access for Ghana’s refined gold products.
Officials say the engagement reflects ongoing efforts by the Ghana Gold Board to strengthen collaborations that support value addition and position Ghana more competitively in the global gold industry.
Both parties are expected to continue engagements aimed at translating the discussions into concrete initiatives.
