Ms. Judith Adjobah Blay embarked on an industrial tour of all manufacturing companies that solely depend on processed lean gas from Ghana Gas Company for their production.

Ghana National Gas Company Limited processes and supplies lean gas in a safe and reliable manner for power production and industrial use.

Since the CEO assumed office a year ago, she has extensively engaged all relevant stakeholders, including off-takers for power production in both the Sekondi-Takoradi and Tema enclaves.

A few months ago, she embarked on a familiarisation tour of factories of off-takers in the Tema enclave, including Sentuo Oil Refinery.

On Tuesday, 21st April, the CEO embarked on a similar tour in the Western enclave to have first-hand experience of the production lines of factories that solely depend on gas from the company for their production.

She also visited showrooms to have a look at the finished products of these manufacturing companies.

The CEO and management had fruitful engagements with the management of the off-taker companies.

The first place of call was Jintao Sanitary Ware Company Limited, manufacturers of ceramic wash-hand basins, toilet seats, etc.

The ceramic tile manufacturing group, Wankang, reiterated the importance of gas supply to production and pleaded with the management of Ghana Gas and government to review the cost of the gas supplied to the company.

At the biggest ceramics manufacturing company in Ghana, the Managing Director of Twyford Group, Mr. Li Wei, expressed gratitude to Ghana Gas for its continuous support to the company and used the opportunity to request additional gas supply for the glass manufacturing production line, which is currently at the construction stage and expected to start full production in August next year.
