CBG hosts financial literacy session for women in gospel music
Consolidated Bank Ghana LTD (CBG) has organised a financial literacy session for over 50 women in gospel music in Accra, aimed at strengthening their capacity to build sustainable and financially resilient ventures.
The engagement focused on promoting a savings culture, improving access to funding, and equipping participants with practical tools to better manage and grow their earnings.
The session brought together prominent gospel musicians, including Esther Piesie, Diana Hopeson and Mary Ghansah, among others.
Participants were taken through strategies for structuring income streams, bridging financing gaps, and developing long-term financial plans to support their creative and entrepreneurial pursuits.
Managing Director of CBG, Naomi Wolali Kwetey, urged the women to rethink their approach to money management and adopt growth-oriented financial habits.
“We are here to learn and unlearn. For a country to grow, business growth is key, and we are leaving no one behind,” she stated.
