Enterprise Group launches ‘Enterprise Spotlight’

A new nationwide entrepreneurial competition aimed at nurturing and showcasing emerging business talent has been unveiled by Enterprise Group PLC in collaboration with Springboard Road Show Foundation.

The initiative, dubbed Enterprise Spotlight, was officially introduced on March 16, 2026, at Advantage Place in Accra.

Designed as a competitive platform, the programme targets entrepreneurs between the ages of 18 and 40 from all sectors of the economy. Organisers have also made a deliberate call for increased participation from women and persons living with disabilities.

Following a nationwide call for entries, 24 applicants will be shortlisted to take part in the televised contest, where they will undergo a series of assessments before a national audience. Participants who progress through the various stages will receive financial backing to support their ventures.

At the top tier, the ultimate winner will walk away with a cash prize of GH¢100,000, while the first and second runners-up will receive GH¢80,000 and GH¢50,000 respectively. Entrepreneurs who reach the semi-final stage will be awarded GH¢10,000 each, with quarter-finalists receiving GH¢5,000 apiece. A special GH¢10,000 award has also been set aside to honour the most resilient entrepreneur living with a disability.

Beyond the monetary incentives, organisers say the programme is structured to provide long-term value to participants. All selected contestants will be enrolled in a comprehensive mentoring and counselling scheme, gain national exposure through televised business showcases, and tap into Springboard’s extensive youth network, which spans over a million individuals across the country.

The initiative also integrates psychosocial support, giving participants access to professional counsellors and psychologists to help them manage the pressures associated with building and expanding businesses.

For Springboard, the competition reinforces its longstanding mission of empowering young people by directly connecting them with resources, expertise and platforms that can accelerate their growth.

Applications for the Enterprise Spotlight Challenge are currently open. Interested individuals must own registered businesses operating within Ghana and fall within the stipulated age bracket. Submissions close on April 6, 2026.
