Insurance industry players are set to gather at the Rock City Hotel for the 2026 Annual Conference and Exhibition (ACE) Programme under the theme “Building Resilience in a Socio-Political Environment.”

The four-day event, scheduled from March 24 to 28, 2026, is expected to bring together key stakeholders in the insurance sector, including regulators, brokers, and industry leaders, to deliberate on emerging challenges and opportunities.

The conference will officially open on March 25 with an opening ceremony chaired by Abiba Zakariah, the National Insurance Commissioner.

The Special Guest of Honour, Cassiel Ato Forson, the Finance Minister, is expected to deliver a keynote address.

The President of the Insurance Brokers Association of Ghana (IBAG), Stephen Kwarteng Yeboah, will deliver the welcome address, while industry bodies such as the Ghana Insurers Association and the Chartered Insurance Institute of Ghana are expected to present goodwill messages.

The programme will feature business sessions, panel discussions and presentations focused on building resilience within the insurance industry.

A key presentation will be delivered by Chijioke Nwafor, with participation from industry experts, including Bernard Ohemeng.

Day two of the conference will include high-level engagements with prominent personalities such as Sam Jonah, as well as a session with representatives from the Office of the Special Prosecutor led by Sammy Darko.

Participants will also engage in discussions on workplace well-being, led by Ebo Whyte, focusing on stress and its impact on professional and personal relationships.

The final day will feature community outreach, sports activities and a closing dinner and awards ceremony, before delegates depart on March 28.

The ACE Programme remains a flagship event for Ghana’s insurance industry, providing a platform for knowledge sharing, networking and policy dialogue aimed at strengthening the sector.
